The spring steel gullet ensures the head of the saddle stays completely rigid whilst allowing the seat flexibility. The gullet is heat tempered in order to set the shape of the head and guarantee the tree will never spread through the saddles lifetime. Six different colour coded are available and are easily fitted to alter the fit of the saddle over the horse's wither.
