Bates Elevation Deep Seat 

Joining forces with elite showjumpers, Bates Saddles pioneered the world’s first truly close contact jump saddle that is focused on both horse and rider performance.

This saddle achieves unprecedented close contact, perfect balance and stability for the rider. For the horse, it features an anatomic tree that reduces any inclination for the saddle to lift, offers a completely customisable fit and the leading panel system for unparalleled impact absorption and comfort.

The deep seat Elevation model offers greater security and support for increased confidence and the added performance advantage of double lined Opulence leather, renowned for its ultra soft and grippy characteristics increasing rider feel and comfort.

Features of the Bates Elevation DS

High performance seat is shaped to maintain breadth behind your seat ensuring comfortable landings, whilst thinning it right down where your leg drops on to the horse, so that the transition is ultra narrow and seamless. The precise cantle angle encourages you to find your central position with ease.

An anatomically shaped tree enables greater comfort and room for the horse’s shoulder, while retaining a close contact feel for the rider. It reduces the occurrence of lifting at the back, which is often accepted with jumping saddles.

Erreplus CA Jump Saddle|Classic Panel

Semi-flat tree, double flap. 

Developed with the precious cooperation of the German champion Christian Ahlmann, the CA saddle is a combination of design, innovation, and precision in a single product with a very high technical value. The seat, unique in its kind, is 3cm wider thanks to external inserts applied directly on the tree and is made of 2 innovative dual-density polyurethanes that gives an incredible feeling of comfort. The enlarged width also promotes incredible stability and support both during the phase of the jump, approach, and landing. 

The innovative flaps are made entirely of doubled bull leather and have undergone significant restyling. Thanks to a series of technical cuts and perforations, they grant an incredible feeling, combining the stability and comfort of a double flap with the contact of a mono. Flaps are available in three projections: Forward (+2cm), Standard and Drawback (-2cm), depending on the physical requirements and style of the rider. 

Knee rolls are available in two sizes: large (Q) for greater knee support and small (B) for major freedom of movement. In addition, as an optional extra, a Velcro attachment is available in the under-flap to reposition or change the set of rolls. 

Our panels are all hand-flocked with synthetic wool and their shape has been revolutionised and adapted accordingly to modern horses shape, which are more compact and muscular. With a larger surface area and a thinner shape, they provide an optimal balance, decreasing pressure points on the spinal area of the horse and promoting closer contact. 

The classic panel is recommended for horses with regular shoulders that are fairly narrow, so maybe a 31cm or 32cm wide.  The classic panel provides support at the front of the saddle for greater stability.

If your horse is wider or has larger or asymmetric shoulders, you should take a look at this saddle with the SL panel.

*All jumping saddles are available in models of 16/17/18 inches, with classic panel or shoulder free SL version and in the three flap projections Basic (B), Drawback (D) and Forward (F). Moreover, in the standard version these saddles are characterised by a small front knee roll and, on request, by a medium sized roll. The front roll is also available with Velcro.

SL panels have been specially designed, together with technical experts in the field, to free the most muscular and pronounced shoulders.  This panel is recommended for horses that are 33cm+ wide.

This short panel completely avoids any kind of pressure at the scapular level, ensuring a perfect movement of the shoulders.
All this while maintaining a large contact area on the horse.

Designed on the basis of a flat JF tree, the Eventing Mono saddle is characterised by a single flap, available only with long billets. The forward drawn flap of the EM allows shorter stirrup leathers and provides a better contact of the rider's calf and ankle to the horse.

At the rear of the tree there two additional holes for positioning

The trees are made from a fibre-reinforced material and the width can be adjusted using a specially designed heat machine. They can usually be adjusted to a couple of centimetres narrower or wider than their manufactured width. This process does require the saddle to be brought in to the workshop.

Erreplus EM Eventing Monoflap SL Panel

Designed on the basis of a flat JF tree, the Eventing Mono saddle is characterised by a single flap, available only with long billets. The forward drawn flap of the EM allows shorter stirrup leathers and provides a better contact of the rider's calf and ankle to the horse.

Our eventing saddle has a shoulder-free SL panel, which was designed to allow prominent shoulders and more developed muscles full mobility.  Thanks to its particular shape at the front, the short panels completely avoid any pressure on the shoulder, facilitating its movement and maintaining a large contact surface on the horse's back. This model is not recommended for horses with prominent and hollow withers. The SL version has been designed in collaboration with specialised technicians and is available for the whole range.

At the rear of the tree there two additional holes for positioning the panels to the outside. In that way, the channel gets broader by 1 cm wider, what is very useful in the case of horses with a wide or exposed spine.

The trees are made from a fibre-reinforced material and the width can be adjusted using a specially designed heat machine. They can usually be adjusted to a couple of centimetres narrower or wider than their manufactured width. This process does require the saddle to be brought in to the workshop.

Erreplus GT Mono Eventing saddle | Classic Panel

 

The GT Mono is the ideal saddle for advanced-level eventing riders or for those seeking a versatile product for the eventing discipline, with the close contact of the mono flap.

The flat tree of the GT Mono saddle is developed to best fit the backs of today’s horses and allows maximum freedom for the musculature of their backs.

The Comfort Seat provides maximum softness in the seat and an exclusive shock-absorbing effect; for this reason, it offers you continuous comfort at all gaits, even during the longest rides. The narrow twist of the tree helps you stay in perfect balance with your horse.

 

Daily Saddle Cleaning

After every ride, especially during warmer periods, it is important to remove sweat, dirt, and dust residues to preserve the bull leather of your Erreplus saddle.

What you need

---

• Clean soft sponge
• Erreplus Leather Cleaner

How to do it

---

• Shake the Erreplus Leather Cleaner bottle well to reactivate the foam.
• Spray a small amount of product onto a soft sponge.
• Gently wipe all saddle surfaces (both outside and inside), paying special attention to the stitching.
• Rinse the sponge with clean water, dry it, and keep it exclusively for this purpose.

This step is essential to restore the leather’s natural pH and keep it supple and soft.

Erreplus JF Jump Saddle| Classic Panel

The JF saddle has been designed to help the rider assume a very balanced position closer to the horse’s back and to facilitate a better leg contact both in flat-work and jumping. It is particularly recommended for riders with light postures that prefer a close contact position. The seat, which has been completely revolutionised, grants great freedom of movement, allowing at the same time an excellent knee contact.
