After careful bio-mechanical study of horse and rider the Fabrento places the rider in the perfect position to apply all aids effectively from a secure central position. The Albion Fabrento is built on an all new Adjusta-Tree with a more open head and lower profile suiting higher, longer withered horses and the width can be adjusted by a trained saddle fitter to suit each individual. The high oil and wax content of this performance leather ensures optimum suppleness and enhanced rider grip.Characteristic of the finest natural leather, the leather is heavily pre-oiled with visible shade variations, often being referred to as a ‘pull up’ leather with a traditional, if not distressed aesthetic. The depth of colour is dependent on the infused oil content within the fibers of each particular hide. The distinctive tones of colour are particularly visible when the leather is bent as the colour lightens returning over time to its original colour as the oils migrate back through into the fibers.

They are fantastic design for the wider natives & to be honest there is no saddle on the market that I would choose over one of these, they are so comfortable & put you in the correct position and give you the comfort and support you need to do schooling and hacking.
I then decided to purchase another one for another home bred black welsh section d stallion we have and again we love it, I hope to be out competing in it this season.
I can’t recommend these saddles enough for anyone losing the will to live thinking they can’t have a dressage saddle for there native because nothing is wide enough they need to try the Bates Wide Dressage!

The Connect features a completely new tree with a flat profile and longer tree points to ensure greater support and balance of the saddle. This model has been designed and made to fit modern horses with a compact and well-muscled shape and is also warmly recommended for short backs.
Its soft seat has been designed to guarantee maximum comfort, giving a close contact feeling. With a narrow twist and a seat made of technical polyurethane with a thinned shape, it ensures an incredible feeling of close contact while maintaining great comfort. Also, for this particular model there is only one type of seat, so it will not be possible to choose an open or deep seat.
Another innovation concerns the flaps: made entirely of doubled bull leather, they ensure excellent contact and greater softness. In addition to the different length options, it will be possible to have 3 different projections in a single flap; this adjustment has to be done by our dealers or fitters by changing only one screw in the insertion holes.
The three types of projection will be the following:
- Forward (+ 2cm), to guarantee more freedom to the knee and thigh support
- Standard, for a more vertical posture
- Drawback (-2cm) for greater support and knee contact.
The front panels attachment to flaps is in Velcro, this will allow a correct adherence between the two components and will avoid the formation of folds and wrinkles during the various projection changes.

The trees are made from a fibre-reinforced material and the width can be adjusted using a specially designed heat machine. They can usually be adjusted to a couple of centimetres narrower or wider than their manufactured width. This process does require the saddle to be brought in to the workshop.

An introductory competition saddle incorporating the genesis nylon tree is comfortable and supportive. The seat is a little deeper than the original K2 Dressage and narrower in the twist giving a much more professional feel.
