The new Albion CC (Cob/Connemara) tree is proving to be a hit with our riders and saddle fitters. This tree is available in the Fabrento, K3 and K2 models with slimmer front and rear gussets and a broader panel area to suit the wider backs. This tree is flatter and very open in the head to fit the broader horses.
Our saddle fitter Gudrun has taken them out for saddle fittings and said "Finally an option for an advanced saddle to suit wider broader breeds, the flat tree, wide panels and open head give great stability."
Here is what Catherine, the Mum of our sponsored rider Mia Stathopoulos, had to say about the K3 CC Jump saddle;
"Wilma aka 'The Potato' has always been a hard fit for a saddle, we have had a few made to order and tried numerous other brands and types all to no avail...Until the wonderful David Dyer Saddles suggested we try the new Albion K3 CC saddle on her. What a breath of fresh air it has been even in an XXW tree width it is stable and sits very well on her back. Since having the saddle she has gone better on the flat and is jumping even better than she was before. Having the saddle made in a MonoFlap is even better for ponies that are round as it gives a closer feel.

This is Wilma's back. As you can see she has a very wide and flat back with very little wither, typical of a native breed.
