We are supporting BETA’s Summer of Safety- June- September 2023 - raising awareness of rider and horse safety
This is the third year of the highly successful campaign that was designed to help inspire, educate and encourage people to embrace safety in all areas of their equestrian life, to help keep themselves and their horses safer.
We have teamed up with BETA to bring you our saddle and bridle work safety checklist. Now is a great time of year to book in your saddle checks with the summer grazing open and the competition season underway horses and ponies are prone to changing shape.
Check lists are available to download as a PDF so you can take them along to the yard with you.
Bridlework covers all areas of your tack and accessories that is not your saddle. So for this list you should be looking at bridle, martingale, breastplate, girth and stirrup leathers.
This check list will help you check over your entire saddle.
