The regular headpiece features a central lozenge to provide optimal stability, but if your horse has an enlarged crest, a forward bridle groove, or is sensitive around the ears, we recommend you choose the stallion headpiece which has straight sides and so is narrower in the centre section.

Fairfax Stallion Headpiece

The Fairfax Stallion headpiece sold separatley, available in snaffle or double.

 

 

Whilst modest in design, this headpiece is not to be underestimated. It utilises the same padding and is cut back enough to provide plenty of space for your horses ears. 

Thanks to the headpiece design there is no noseband strap sitting across the poll which can rub or cause pinching. 

The throat lash strap has been strategically integrated into the headpiece to reduce the bulk in the sensitive TMJ area and allowing for the noseband and cheek piece buckles to lie flat against the horses skin.
