Ideal Stud Girth 

Designed to complement any competition jump saddle fitted with short girth straps. The shape of our stud girth allows most horses freedom of movement behind their elbow. The sturdy top protects the horse’s underside from knocks & wounds caused from stud strike. The padding is lovely and soft against the horse. The stud girth also has dee ring and sam brown stud martingale attachment.

Sizes from: 36”(90cm)-54”(137cm).

Girths sizes in 2” increments.

The John Whitaker Stud Guard is ideal for horses who catch their underside when jumping. The thick leather prevents injury and distributes the pressure of the stud guard evenly.

Shaped for extra comfort. Broad belly pad with adjustable martingale strap and training ring. Moves comfortably without chaffing or rubbing.  Treble Elasticated at both ends with Stainless Steel roller buckles.

This padded balance Stephen’s Studguard girth is equipped with stainless steel metalwork.

The Girth is Contoured to avoid the sensitive area behind the elbow. Hence, this provides more comfort to the horse.
