Acavallo AluPlus Stirrup


New premium model of our patented, laterally opening Arena stirrups, completely made of certified high-grade anodized aluminum and fitted with a stainless steel tread. Acavallo has carefully chosen and combined the materials used, following detailed research and comprehensive testing.

The aluminum, besides giving the stirrup a sleek and elegant appearance, is lightweight and extremely durable, while the stainless steel protects the tread from corrosion, guaranteeing a long life of the product, too. The opening of the stress-actuated locking and release mechanism is located a centimeter higher from the tread to ensure that the foot cannot slip out laterally by mistake and to prevent sand and dirt from delaying the opening action of the arm in case of an emergency.

Long holes in the tread prevent sand and dirt accumulations so that the gripping effect is not compromised and a five degree inclination of the tread helps riders to assume the correct posture, relieving tension in their ankles, calves, knees and hips.

Stirrup Bank

  • Stirrups will be sold at full retail price with a trial period of 2 weeks
  • Stirrups may show some signs of wear from previous trial use.
  • If a set of stirrups are not suitable and therefore returned within the trial period they will be refunded less 10% of the retail value.
  • Upon its return, the stirrups will be subject to inspection, if there has been excessive wear or damage during the trial period it may be subject to further reductions in the amount refunded.
  • Customers will be responsible for the cost and safe return of the stirrups, they should be packaged in a way that does not damage the stirrups in any way. We recommend keeping the packing it arrives in until a decision is made about whether to keep the stirrups or not.
  • If you wish to return the stirrups in exchange for a brand new pair of what you tried we will process the exchange plus the cost of the trial period. The new stirrups will be dispatched once the trial cost has been paid, or once it is in stock.
  • Unfortunately we cannot offer stirrups on stirrup bank internationally
  • We can send a Royal Mail returns label for the stirrups at a cost of £6.00, there is no need to pay this upfront it will simply be deducted from the refund.

Built with an internal steel frame to reinforce the polymer outer shell. These stirrups have an inclined grip and two elastomer springs. The Flex-On elastomers reduce and absorb shock waves. As a result this protects the riders ankles and knees. Your horse will also feel the benefit as these stirrups reduce the pressure through the stirrups on impact. These stirrups are aimed at a wide range of riders. While providing improved technical performance in terms of shock absorption and ergonomics (a specific feature of flex-on), the green composite stirrup offers quality at a competitive price.

The magnets on the front of the iron that say 'Flex-on' can be removed and replaced with different colour magnets!

The Flex-on Safe-On Ultra Grip Stirrups are the perfect choice for all riders, combining comfort, performance and style, along with a unique flexible arm for increased safety.

This innovative design is manufactured with a single piece steel core and coated with an organically sourced polyamid material and integrates the shock-absorbing flex-on system to guarantee upper protection of the young athlete's body. This structure protects against the risk of breakages. A flexible and retractable arm on the outer side helps to reduce the risk of injury; if you fall from your horse, this arm 'breaks' away to prevent your foot from being stuck in the stirrup. The retractable arm can then be easily screwed back on.

Acavallo AluPlus Stirrup


New premium model of our patented, laterally opening Arena stirrups, completely made of certified high-grade anodized aluminum and fitted with a stainless steel tread. Acavallo has carefully chosen and combined the materials used, following detailed research and comprehensive testing.

The aluminum, besides giving the stirrup a sleek and elegant appearance, is lightweight and extremely durable, while the stainless steel protects the tread from corrosion, guaranteeing a long life of the product, too. The opening of the stress-actuated locking and release mechanism is located a centimeter higher from the tread to ensure that the foot cannot slip out laterally by mistake and to prevent sand and dirt from delaying the opening action of the arm in case of an emergency.

Long holes in the tread prevent sand and dirt accumulations so that the gripping effect is not compromised and a five degree inclination of the tread helps riders to assume the correct posture, relieving tension in their ankles, calves, knees and hips.

Stirrup Bank

  • Stirrups will be sold at full retail price with a trial period of 2 weeks
  • Stirrups may show some signs of wear from previous trial use.
  • If a set of stirrups are not suitable and therefore returned within the trial period they will be refunded less 10% of the retail value.
  • Upon its return, the stirrups will be subject to inspection, if there has been excessive wear or damage during the trial period it may be subject to further reductions in the amount refunded.
  • Customers will be responsible for the cost and safe return of the stirrups, they should be packaged in a way that does not damage the stirrups in any way. We recommend keeping the packing it arrives in until a decision is made about whether to keep the stirrups or not.
  • If you wish to return the stirrups in exchange for a brand new pair of what you tried we will process the exchange plus the cost of the trial period. The new stirrups will be dispatched once the trial cost has been paid, or once it is in stock.
  • Unfortunately we cannot offer stirrups on stirrup bank internationally
  • We can send a Royal Mail returns label for the stirrups at a cost of £6.00, there is no need to pay this upfront it will simply be deducted from the refund.
