Trial saddles are dispatched securely by courier across the UK and can then be assessed in the horse’s normal working environment. This allows the saddle to be evaluated while the horse is moving and carrying a rider, which is often when potential issues with saddle balance or fit become most apparent.
If the saddle proves unsuitable, it can be returned within the trial period in accordance with our trial terms and conditions.

Saddles must be purchased in full before they are dispatched and are supplied with a 14-day trial period starting from the date of delivery.
During this period the saddle can be assessed on the horse and, where possible, reviewed by a professional saddle fitter to determine whether the saddle is suitable.
If the saddle is not appropriate for the horse, it can be returned within the trial period provided it remains in appropriate condition.

UK Saddle Trial Service
Our trial saddles are available to riders across mainland UK and are carefully packaged and dispatched by courier. Depending on the size and model of saddle, one or two saddles may be sent per box.
Customers are responsible for the cost of postage from David Dyer Saddles to their address and the cost of returning the saddles at the end of the trial period.
