Question

How can I purchase a saddle from David Dyer Saddles?

Answer

General Advice

Whether you are coming to the shop or buying online please take a moment to read through our saddle fitting notes to help you through the process.

A) Purchasing from the Saddlery.

Once you have decided you would like to purchase a new saddle from David Dyer Saddles, please contact David on 07714 158986 so that an appointment can be made with him. This can either be done at the shop or at your yard provided it is within our call out area.

If you purchase the saddle from our site at Frogpool Manor Farm there will be no fitting fee. However, if you decide not to purchase one of our saddles there will be a charge of £50.00 for the saddle fitting advice, template for future use and travel expenses. If a new saddle has to be ordered then a 50% deposit will be taken on the day. This is non-refundable should you change your mind about having the saddle.

You can also bring your horse to the saddlery where we have the use of a floodlit 20x60m arena. There are no fitting charges if a saddle is purchased and again if not there will be a £40 charge for our saddler and the arena.

B) Internet or Telephone

All saddles can be purchased from David Dyer Saddles either online via Worldpay, or over the phone by credit card (please note we can only despatch to the card holders address for security reasons). It is advisable to contact us by phone prior to ordering a saddle so that we can ensure that you are purchasing the correct saddle for your needs.

All saddles must be paid for in full. David Dyer Saddles appreciate that you need to ensure a correct fit but we ask that you do this with a thin cloth and only lightly girth the saddle up.

If the saddle is returned soiled or "worn" in anyway we reservce the right to make a charge of 10% of the value of the saddle.

C) Special Order/Template Saddles

These saddles are payable in full via the internet and at least 50% from a fitting. This is non-refundable as a personalised service.
