The Performance Girth - Narrow Gauge for horses/ponies with less than 20cm between front legs

Designed specifically to fit those horses (and most ponies) with a narrower rib cage.  To check whether a horse falls into the narrow gauge category, measure the flat area between the horse’s elbows.  If the measurement is less than 20cm then the narrow gauge version is needed to ensure a perfect fit between the front legs.

The Fairfax Girth is a luxury item and needs maintaining well.  The girth should be well cleaned with a damp sponge after use and fed with leather feeder after EVERY use.  Glycerin and oil should not be used as they seal the sweat into the leather and this is what causes the leather to crack over a period of time.

We know how important it is to find the right girth for your horse. Our Girth Bank gives you the chance to try before you buy, with peace of mind.

Trial Period

• You’ll have 14 days to try your chosen girth at home.

• Light use is fine, but it must be returned clean and in good condition.

• If it comes back dirty or damaged, a small cleaning/repair fee may apply.

Refunds

• If you return your girth within the trial, you’ll get a 90% refund (we keep 10% as the trial fee).

• Refunds are processed once the girth is safely back with us and checked.

• Late returns are charged at £2 per day (up to 14 days). After that, we can’t refund.

• You cover return postage, or you can request a £6 prepaid returns label (deducted from your refund).

Exchanges

• If you’d like to try a different size or style, no problem!

• Each girth trial carries its own trial fee. For example, if you try a 24" and then exchange for a 26", the 24" trial fee is deducted before the 26" is dispatched.

• We’ll cover postage on your first exchange (sending the new girth out to you). Any further exchanges will be posted at your cost.

Girth Bank

• Girths will be sold at full retail price with a trial period of 2 weeks
• Girths may show some signs of wear from previous trial use.
• If a girth is not suitable and therefore returned within the trial period it will be refunded less 10% of the retail value.
• Upon its return, the girth will be subject to inspection, if there has been excessive wear or damage during the trial period it may be subject to further reductions in the amount refunded.
• Customers will be responsible for the cost and safe return of the girth, they should be packaged in a way that does not damage the girth in any way.  We recommend keeping the packing it arrives in until a decision is made about whether to keep the girth or not.
• If you wish to return the girth in exchange for a brand new version of what you tried we will process the exchange plus the cost of the trial period.  The new girth will be dispatched once the trial cost has been paid, or once it is in stock.
• Unfortunately we cannot offer girths on girth bank internationally
• GIRTHS MUST BE RETURNED IN THE SAME BOX AND PACKAGING AS THEY WERE DELIVERED.  DAMAGE FROM POOR PACKAGING MAY RESULT IN MONEY BEING DUDUCTED FROM THE REFUND.
• Returns made over the permitted trial period will be charged at £2 per day
• We can send a Royal Mail returns label for the girth at a cost of £6.00, there is no need to pay this upfront it will simply be deducted from the refund.
