Kentucky Horsewear developed an outstanding line of quality rugs. Our Show Rug with a filling of 160 grams has an artificial rabbit skin lining (100% animal friendly) which offers an extremely soft feeling and therefore prevents rubbing as well as hairs sticking in the lining. The artificial rabbit skin creates tiny air pockets that trap and retain the body heat. Thanks to the soft hairs of the artificial rabbit skin the horse gets a shinier coat. Because of the high warmth to weight ratio the Show Rug offers excellent comfort. The artificial sheepskin covers the entire neck and chest and offers and optimal comfort as well as a very fancy look. The outer fabric (600D high tenacity polyester) with a diamond quilted pattern makes it a lot harder for the horse to bite in the fabric and tear it up. It also prevents shavings from sticking to the rug. The Show Rug features double front closures and two detachable cross surcingles that are reinforced with artificial leather. The bungee cord is also detachable and has a plastic cover which allows easy cleaning. The rug is machine washable at 30°, do not tumble dry.

Kentucky Horsewear Air Tech Eventing Boots

This extremely strong and shock absorbing Air Tech Eventing Boot offers the best protection and comfort for your horse during the cross-country. The Air Tech Eventing Boot is made out of 5 layers. On the inside there is a very breathable knitted lining which ensures a soft feeling against the skin and therefore prevents rubs. This lining also prevents the boot from slipping or turning. The second layer is made out of 5mm thick EVA foam. This material is extremely light, shock absorbing and offers a lot of stability to the boot as well as your horse’s leg. This EVA foam is perforated with ventilation holes to allow the heat to escape so the legs don’t overheat. The third layer is a 2mm thick TPU hard shell that stops the largest impact and prevents penetration from horseshoes or studs. On the front of the hind leg we added another layer of 5mm thick EVA foam to provide extra protection when touching a jump. The outer layer is made out of perforated artificial leather. The tiny ventilation holes prevent the leg from overheating. The material doesn’t absorb water which allows the Air Tech Eventing Boots to maintain their light weight. Therefore, they can enhance the performance and contribute to the comfort of the horse during these long, hard cross-country courses.

On the side of the fetlock we added a seem to ensure a perfect fit and so the Air Tech Eventing Boots don’t slide off and don’t turn. The boots feature an extremely strong Velcro fastening. Quick tip: put some tape around the fastening of the boots to extend their durability. The Air Tech Eventing Boots are machine washable at 30°, do not tumble dry. Close the Velcro fastening before washing or put in a washing bag. Our Air Tech technology was perfectioned during the 3 year-long development process and was tested under the hardest conditions. This technology enables extreme breathability which prevents your horse’s legs from overheating during the hard work.

The Sheepskin Leather Overreach Boots provide excellent shock absorption and maximum protection. They offer extra protection for injuries that can be caused by overreaching. These overreach boots are very strong, flexible and comfortable. To some they may appear to be slightly too small, but this is not the case. They are shaped for a perfect fit, safety and stability. The Sheepskin Leather Overreach Boots incorporate a tough, hardwearing 100% waterproof PVC leather. With their expert design they are perfect for all disciplines. Kentucky Horsewear developed a Tack Cleaner to clean our artificial leather. Very easy and efficient! The artificial leather doesn’t take in any dirt, sweat or water and is therefore very durable! Kentucky Horsewear Sheepskin Breastplate Cover

The Kentucky Horsewear Sheepskin Breastplate Cover is extremely soft. As a result, not only are they a stylish addition to your breastplate, but they help prevent rubbing around the horses chest.

The faux sheepskin is super soft and easy to put on and off your breastplate with its strong Velcro closure. This product is great for horses with sensitive skin, whilst it also protects your breastplate from sweat and dirt.

This saddle pad has a unique and distinctive horizontal quilting. It is made out of a breathable material which is 43% Nylon, 43% Polyester and 14% Spandex. The feel of the material is like no other saddle pad on the market. The Dressage Saddle Pad piping is also made out of pearls and is very stylish.

The saddle pads are fitted with nylon straps for the girth. The Dressage Saddle Pad Pearls also features a subtle leather Kentucky logo in the same colour as the saddle pad, whilst still offering enough room to embroider the saddle pad if needed.

Kentucky Nylon Sheepskin Headcollar is soft on your horses head. Perfect for use in the yard or transporting. Machine washable with fitted faux sheepskin. An excellent headcollar for horses that are sensitive to rubs. The headcollars have luxurious faux sheepskin attached on the main contact points.
