Kentucky Horsewear developed an outstanding line of quality rugs. Our Show Rug with a filling of 160 grams has an artificial rabbit skin lining (100% animal friendly) which offers an extremely soft feeling and therefore prevents rubbing as well as hairs sticking in the lining. The artificial rabbit skin creates tiny air pockets that trap and retain the body heat. Thanks to the soft hairs of the artificial rabbit skin the horse gets a shinier coat. Because of the high warmth to weight ratio the Show Rug offers excellent comfort. The artificial sheepskin covers the entire neck and chest and offers and optimal comfort as well as a very fancy look. The outer fabric (600D high tenacity polyester) with a diamond quilted pattern makes it a lot harder for the horse to bite in the fabric and tear it up. It also prevents shavings from sticking to the rug. The Show Rug features double front closures and two detachable cross surcingles that are reinforced with artificial leather. The bungee cord is also detachable and has a plastic cover which allows easy cleaning. The rug is machine washable at 30°, do not tumble dry.

Kentucky Horsewear Air Tech Eventing Boots

This extremely strong and shock absorbing Air Tech Eventing Boot offers the best protection and comfort for your horse during the cross-country. The Air Tech Eventing Boot is made out of 5 layers. On the inside there is a very breathable knitted lining which ensures a soft feeling against the skin and therefore prevents rubs. This lining also prevents the boot from slipping or turning. The second layer is made out of 5mm thick EVA foam. This material is extremely light, shock absorbing and offers a lot of stability to the boot as well as your horse’s leg. This EVA foam is perforated with ventilation holes to allow the heat to escape so the legs don’t overheat. The third layer is a 2mm thick TPU hard shell that stops the largest impact and prevents penetration from horseshoes or studs. On the front of the hind leg we added another layer of 5mm thick EVA foam to provide extra protection when touching a jump. The outer layer is made out of perforated artificial leather. The tiny ventilation holes prevent the leg from overheating. The material doesn’t absorb water which allows the Air Tech Eventing Boots to maintain their light weight. Therefore, they can enhance the performance and contribute to the comfort of the horse during these long, hard cross-country courses.

On the side of the fetlock we added a seem to ensure a perfect fit and so the Air Tech Eventing Boots don’t slide off and don’t turn. The boots feature an extremely strong Velcro fastening. Quick tip: put some tape around the fastening of the boots to extend their durability. The Air Tech Eventing Boots are machine washable at 30°, do not tumble dry. Close the Velcro fastening before washing or put in a washing bag. Our Air Tech technology was perfectioned during the 3 year-long development process and was tested under the hardest conditions. This technology enables extreme breathability which prevents your horse’s legs from overheating during the hard work.

The Sheepskin Leather Overreach Boots provide excellent shock absorption and maximum protection. They offer extra protection for injuries that can be caused by overreaching. An excellent headcollar for horses that are sensitive to rubs. The headcollars have luxurious faux sheepskin attached on the main contact points. The four strips of sheepskin are fixed permanently to the fabric of the headcollar.As a result the faux sheepskin fitted to the headcollar does not slip around when the horse is moving. The Kentucky Horse Quarter Rug or Exercise Sheet is the perfect choice for the early mornings and colder months. Use when warming up and also when cooling down. An exercise sheet like no other. The Kentucky Quarter Rug is lined with a luxurious faux fur. The faux fur lining is soft on the most sensitive skin and as a result, will help prevent the rug from rubbing.

The Quarter Rug is soft and comfortable on the horses body and will provide optimum warmth for your horse. Containing 160gr of filling. The faux fur creates tiny air pockets against the horses skin and as a result helps maintain the horses temperature.
