Application

The Albion Luxury Leather Soap will not strip the colour from your Albion leather products.

Application
First moisten a cloth in tepid water and gently wipe leather to remove excess sweat and mud. Use soap sparingly with a damp (not wet), sponge or cloth. For optimum results, after cleaning, apply Albion Nourishing Leather Balm.

Albion's Leather Care Kit

Cleanse and moisturise your bridle, saddle and leather products with the Albion Leather Care Kit! 

Leather, just like your own skin needs caring for, especially in cold weather. Every possible care has been taken by Albion Saddlemakers to ensure consistency and quality of their products. Before using your product for the first time you must protect it. Leather is a perishable material, if it is not cleaned and greased regularly the life expectancy of a product is greatly reduced. This will contribute to colour loss and premature ageing of stitching and leather.

In order to keep your leather equipment looking and feeling at its best, Albion has developed highly recommended natural soap and balm cleaning products which leave the leather clean, conditioned and protected.

For best results we recommend:
Before using your bridle, saddle or leather product for the first time you must protect it. A full application of a leather conditioning product, such as the Albion leather balm, is advisable.
For used products first clean the excess sweat and mud with cloth dampened in tepid water, then follow the directions below. For calf skin wipe only with a damp cloth. 

Albion Leather Soap
Apply sparingly with a damp, not wet, cloth. Wipe off excess, buff and apply Albion Leather Balm as necessary.

Albion Leather Balm
Apply sparingly with a cloth or sponge regularly to leather that is clean and dry.
Sweat along with excessive heat, sun damage, damp conditions and lack of maintenance are the most common causes of leather becoming dry, discoloured, brittle or cracked which greatly reduces the life of any leather product. Therefore daily cleaning is highly recommended. A carefully maintained product will feel soft and supple for years to come. Always store leather at room temperature

Amerigo Soft Oil

We recommend an application of oil before initial use. Regular application of the oil (every 8-12 weeks) will help to maintain the suppleness of the leather.

Arena Glycerine Soap

Arena Glycerine Saddle Soap is the ideal preparation for your leather care program.

Application: Using a damp cloth, remove any surface dirt before applying the glycerine saddle soap. Work the soap into the leather using circular motions to form a lather that will lift any remaining dirt and sweat. Using a clean damp cloth, remove any excess saddle soap. Always follow with Arena Leather Balsam to replenish the moisture content and form a protective barrier. Treated in this way your leather will remain supple with rich colour and longevity.

Arena Leather Balsam

Arena Leather Balsam is specially formulated to strengthen the core of the leather, so that it remains supple and protected from the elements and surface wear.

Application: Ensure the leather is first cleaned with Arena Glycerine Saddle Soap to remove surface dirt and oil. Apply Arena Leather Balsam liberally with a soft cloth working it into the leather in circular motions. Allow time for the Balsam to be absorbed, overnight if required. Polish off any excess.

Bates Glycerine Soap

Gentle saddle soap to care for your leather products.

Bates Glycerine Soap is the ideal first step in your leather care program. Using a damp cloth, remove any surface dirt before applying the glycerine saddle soap. Using a good quality, wax-based leather balsam will penetrate deeply into the leather, creating a surface barrier to protect against wear, water, and sweat.

Bates Leather Cleaning Cream

Use the Bates Leather Cream to replenish and rejuvenate the moisture content of your saddle.

A sustainable, biodegradable bamboo derived mitt. Quick and convenient as no water required. Turning tab so both sides can be used easily. Can also be used on synthetic leather. Just wipe over leather items to remove the grease and dirt. No scrubbing necessary. Rinse the mitt after use.

Erreplus Leather Balsam

Erreplus leather balsam has been created to ensure the perfect care for our high-quality leather products.

Erreplus Leather Foam Cleaner

The Erreplus leather foam cleaner has been specially designed for the cleaning of natural leathers with Aniline dye. It is the only cleaner that contains an acidity regulator, which sustains the resilience and the elasticity of the leather. This product is highly recommended especially during the summer, when horse and rider are sweating a lot, since it allows to restore the pH level of the leather to a basic value. It’s simple to use, just apply it with a soft cloth directly to the leather and clean the most exposed parts such as seat, panels and flaps thoroughly.
