The Rubino AS-X saddle features a tree with the revolutionary new AS-X technology, born from the combination of two technologies: the Adaptive System and the X-Technology. The Adaptive System is the only shock-absorbing system that allows the tree axial and lateral bending. A tree that is unique on the market and completely innovative. Thanks to its geometry, X-Technology with injected membranes and the patented Adaptive System, it is able to fully follow the horse’s movements and offer the rider maximum stability. The front part of the saddle is designed to minimise the thickness and provide the rider with a close contact sensation, while the rear part, with its large injected membranes, offers great stability. The design, specifically studied to provide maximum flexibility, allows the horse to flourish its athletic skills. The seat is offered in two depths: MD (medium deep), ideal for those seeking a more centered position, and MF (medium flat), designed for riders who prefer greater freedom of movement. The reduced thickness under the thigh increases the communication between horse and rider. The design of the blocks, which are not stitched at the front, allows the sweatflaps to flex and the panels to follow the horse’s shoulders without restricting its movement. The Rubino AS-X saddle adapts to all horse morphologies and rider’s needs, thanks to its five different panels options: LPF (integrated, not integrated and FSF applied) and latex (integrated and not integrated).

X-BREATH
WHAT IS IT? It is the technology applied to the tree consisting of an oval hole positioned in the center of the tree’s rear section, covered in elastic and breathable honeycomb fabric. In the X-Breath K, there is an additional hole in the front part of the tree.
BENEFITS The holes ensure greater breathability and minimize the overheating effects exerted by the saddle on both horse and rider. The rear hole makes the seat more comfortable by relieving the spinal column of the pressures it is usually subjected to. Additionally, saddles with X-Breath technology are lighter.
